Always
Dream of
perfect endings
though all poems may not rhyme
and life is not fair even at
the end.

In
Moonlight
My legs
tight around you
I open with love, as
morning glories do when the sun
warms them. |
Dessert
She sucks
the brandy from
his finger before love
and in whispered tones promises
much more. |
|
| |
Afternoon Delight
Nestled
in a tin tub,
blushing red at the throat,
pink hibiscus enjoy a light
spring rain.
|
|
Still . . .
And still
I think about
summer's end long ago,
when a dark-haired stranger loved me
all night.

|
| |
Anew
Begin
today anew
no imagined failures
or unfelt pleasures between us
ever.

Magic
She cried,
'please, just hold me'
and hugging her softness
he remembered all the magic
of love.

Florescence
Lily
gently reaching
for the unscented wind
to swirl inside sweet fragrant folds
unfurled. |
|
Sh-sh-sh--
Sundown
over the dunes,
gulls gather for the night
watching for the last reddish glint
of day. . .
stirring gently under the stars
they huddle and murmur
inside the dunes
softly.

Morning
His hands
massage my neck
as he draws me closer
in our early morning shower
so hot.
|
|
|
Awakening
Slowly
in the stillness
half-shadows stir, curving . . .
I arch to meet the soft warmth
of
his
lips. |
